Rhina is a multifaceted creative and changemaker committed to representation, empowerment, and authentic storytelling. Born and raised in New York City, her journey in the arts began at a young age and evolved into a dynamic career as a producer, writer, director, actress, comedian, and dancer.
Her passion for performance opened doors to on-screen opportunities, while her dedication to meaningful narratives led her behind the scenes. Rhina is the host and creative producer of OPEN Friday on BronxNet TV, and her work has been featured on platforms including HBO’s Betty la Flaca.
She is also the founder of La Reina Del Barrio Inc., a production company rooted in community, culture, and purpose. Through her work, Rhina creates space for underrepresented voices and stories that reflect real lived experiences.
Beyond entertainment, Rhina is a speaker and advocate who uses her platform to address women’s empowerment, mental health, and the upliftment of working-class women of color. Her impact has been recognized by organizations such as the Latin Impact Awards, and she has been named among Bronx Influential Women.
